MRR growth, NRR, gross margin, model cost per user, activation rate, refund rate, LTV/CAC, and payback period. If your dashboard doesn't show these eight, you can't fundraise.
The gross margin trap
Reported "90% SaaS gross margin" is a lie for most AI startups — you're not accounting for OpenAI. Real number is often 40–60%.
